I have been "in love" with the Art of quilting since a child but when I inherited from my grandmother, her unfinished flower garden quilt, that box of octagon fabrics, I was drawn into the fiber textile world forever.  My passion continued as I took classes and became an instructor myself. I have made well over 100 quilts, taught quilting, designed quilts and clothing than moved onto quilt, vintage clothing and textile restoration.

As a designer, restorer and quilting instructor from beginners to advanced quilters I am always expanding my education and now use all those skills to make your heirloom memory quilt, garment or restoration. 

Life is truly magical and in 2003, I took a giant leap of faith to follow my inner guidance.  My 3 children were grown and it was time for me to leave the beauty and nature of northern Minnesota to live on the tropical Big island of Hawaii.  I found my sense of wonder and spirit renewed as I incorporated the energy on the island into the designing and creation of all my endeavors.  The magic continues and now in 2012 I am back in Minnesota with my family creating a new “Life Spirit” dream with more education and many new products. 

My passion is to engage others in their connection to the earth, its beauty, spirit and healing energy with each vibrant piece of art I create or restore.  It is my intention to honor the many gifts that this life has provided me.  What will come next is yet to be revealed.  My life is overflowing with gratitude and appreciation.
